Regional Manager, Asia
Puay Lim has responsibility for driving performance and maintaining partnerships within our South East Asian markets.
Puay Lim Yeo has five years of experience in management consulting, specialising in the Telecoms and Media sectors. Prior to joining BIMA, he was a senior consultant at Value Partners (formerly known as Spectrum Strategy Consultants) and Analysys Mason, advising telecoms and media operators in Asia in the areas of corporate strategy, product development, technology, distribution and regulation. He also previously worked in the Singapore Government in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Puay Lim holds a B.A in Political Science from Columbia University in New York City.
Regional Analyst, South Asia
Wincent joins us as Regional Analyst for South Asia. Prior to joining BIMA, Wincent was an automation engineer in a pharmaceutical company, MSD (Merck Sharp & Dohme). During his stint in MSD, he was deeply involved in creating automated systems to ensure low cost and high-quality medicines are manufactured for those in medical need.
Wincent was born in Bali, Indonesia, and came to Singapore at an early age of 8. He holds a B.Eng. in Chemical Engineering and B.B.A from the National University of Singapore.
REGIONAL ANALYST, SOUTH EAST ASIA
Prior to joining BIMA, Sudharshan worked for 4 years in the banking operations space for Bank of America as well as Goldman Sachs. Within banking, Sudharshan has worked in multiple functions including Trade Processing, Collateral Risk and Prime Lending. During his stint in banking, he was deeply involved in leading initiatives to implement technological and regulatory changes cutting across different product classes for various Asian markets.
Sudharshan was born and raised in Chennai, India and moved to Singapore to complete his B.Eng in Electrical Engineering from National University of Singapore.
Regional Analyst, Asia
Vaishnavi joins us as a Regional Analyst for Asia markets. Prior to joining BIMA, Vaishnavi worked with inventory management and has dipped her fingers in inventory planning, demand forecasting and sales analysis for a retail store operations in Australia.
Vaishnavi came to Singapore for secondary school 12 years ago, and continued her higher studies with a B.Engg in Environmental Engineering from National University of Singapore.
Regional CFO, ASIA
Elise joined Bima in 2017 as Regional CFO – Asia and responsible for Asia’s financial operations.
Elise is a qualified CPA and holds a B. Law and B. Commerce (majoring in Finance). She has over 14 years of experience in various roles in finance covering audit, taxation, and financial controllership. Elise recently joins us from ANZ Bank (Singapore) as Regional Finance Business Partner and prior to that she worked at Manulife (Cambodia), Commonwealth Bank of Australia and Ernst & Young.
Akira has overall strategic and operational responsibility for our business in Bangladesh.
Prior to joining BIMA, Akira was a corporate banker at Citigroup, where he gained extensive experience in international banking & finance focusing on emerging markets. He has also experienced various projects on microinsurance, microfinance and impact investing in Asia.
Akira holds an MBA from INSEAD and a Master of Public Policy from University of Tokyo.
Shreya is responsible for managing service operations including Service Quality & Assurance, Doctor management, Claim management and Training & Development. Prior to joining BIMA, Shreya has worked with HDFC Standard Life Insurance in India and worked across multiple functions including Customer relations, Persistency & Marketing. She started her career with Tata Power in India. She earned her MBA in Marketing from Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad & holds a Bachelors in Technology Degree in Electrical Engineering from National Institute of Technology Raipur, India.
Head of Sales
Shahrukh has operational responsibility of Agent Network in all over Bangladesh for MNO partnership.
Before joining BIMA, Shahrukh was a Customer Relationship Officer at Moshihor Securities Ltd. a leading stock exchange brokerage house in Bangladesh and also worked as a Tele-marketing officer at Airbd Customer Service point, where he achieved significant skills in Customer Relationship, Sales and Marketing.
Shahrukh has a BBA in Human resource management from Victoria University of Bangladesh.
TRAINING AND DEVELOPMNET
Morsalin is responsible for all training and development of Milvik Bangladesh. He joined at Milvik in 2012 and was responsible for rolling out agent networking across Bangladesh.
Before joining BIMA, Morsalin was a Marketing Executive at UTSHOB.com, where he gained significant experience in Sales, Operations and Team Management. Morsalin has worked on different projects like Red Crescent Society, Lions Club etc. He is the lifetime member of Alumni Association (Department of English), Chittagong College.
Morsalin has an MA in English Literature from the National University of Bangladesh.
Head of Product
Muhaiminur is responsible for identifying possible partners and launch partnership process along with conducting market research, product development and supporting the country director. He will work closely with senior management team, local team and the global product function to develop business strategy specifically for the sector. Muhaiminur has a total work experience of around 6 years in product development, project implementation and business development for several local and multinational corporations.
Previously he was with The Bangladesh Rating Agency, a subsidiary of Dun & Bradstreet. Muhaiminur has a BBA with dual major in Finance & International Business from North South University and a MSc in Financial Management from The University of Greenwich.
Pintu Kumar Deb Nath
Head of HR and Admin
Pintu Kumar is responsible for managing all kinds of human resources functions of our Bangladesh operation.
Pintu Kumar has over ten years working experience in Human Resources & Direct Marketing. Before joining Milvik, he was working as Associate Manager of Recruitment & Relationship Department at BRAC Bank Ltd. , where he was responsible for all types of Recruitment and Relationship Management activities maintaining continuous liaison with the division heads.
Pintu has completed his MBA, Majoring in Human Resources Management from University of South Asia, Bangladesh.
HEAD OF CLAIMS MANAGEMENT
Rezaur Rahim has responsibility to look after the Claims operation of our Bangladesh company.
Rezaur Rahim has over ten years of direct experience in supervisory positions for renowned life insurance companies of Bangladesh such as Deltal Life & Pragati Life insurance.
He has taken part in different workshops, seminars & training programs organized by the Regularity Authority & RAPPORT BD LTD.
Rezaur Rahim holds a Masters degree in Psychology from National University of Bangladesh.
Head of IT
Before joining BIMA, Asif has previously worked with Zenith Infotech solution Ltd, Novartis Bangladesh Ltd, Legato Services Ltd.
He is responsible for all IT related activities such as networking, in-house call center, technical coordination with MIP/BTC across MBL businesses. He is a computer engineer and attended Atish Dipankar University of Science and Technology.
DR. ANWARUL MAMUN
CHIEF MEDICAL OFFICER
Dr. Anwarul Mamun is responsible for management of our 24/7 tele-doctor consultation and other health services. Prior to joining Milvik he implemented several mHealth services around maternal and child health, breast cancer detection and telecom VAS. In his more than 15 years long professional career he worked in various marketing capacities for a number of leading pharmaceuticals companies of the country including Sanofi, Novartis & Eskayef. He has also worked in implementing public health programs around family planning, adolescent health & nutrition while working at Social Marketing Company (SMC). He holds an MBBS from Sher-E-Bangla Medical College, Barishal and an MBA from University of Dhaka.
HEAD OF FINANCE
Azizul is responsible for finance operation at Milvik Bangladesh. He has a demonstrable experience in positions of high responsibility with large business conglomerates in Bangladesh. Before joining BIMA, he worked with some renowned multinational and local organizations like Bureau Veritas, MJL Bangladesh Ltd., Pacific Bangladesh Telecom Ltd, etc. He is also experienced with microfinance program with local NGOs. Azizul holds a master’s in accounting from national university, completed Chartered Accountant Article ship with SF Ahmed & Co (an ex- EY affiliated firm) and got certified as a tax adviser from NBR.
HEAD OF MIS
Rezwan has the responsibility of creating operations related reports and analytics for both local and global team. Before joining BIMA in 2014 as Project Coordinator, Rezwan was a Management Executive at Bureau Veritas Bangladesh Private Limited, part of Bureau Veritas Group which is recognized as world leader in testing, inspection and certification services (TIC), where he achieved significant skills on reporting and communication. Also, he worked as a Corporate Branding Officer at Energypac Power Generation Limited designing corporate branding strategy. Rezwan has a BBA and MBA in Marketing from Stamford University Bangladesh.
Nowrin joined at BIMA in February 2019 as Marketing Manager. She is in charge of internal and external communication and marketing activities for BIMA Bangladesh. Prior to joining BIMA, she has worked at telecommunication and construction materials industry. Nowrin has more than 5 years experience in Marketing and customer relationship sector. She has completed her graduation and post graduation degree form East West University, Dhaka, Bangladesh.
Kim has overall strategic & operational responsibility for our business in Cambodia.
Kim has an extensive and successful history of driving sales and revenue across different industries in telecommunication, automotive and financial services. Most recently she was Vice President of Payments and ACH for Commercial Bank of California (CBC), she was responsible for developing a 1099 Agent program to help further increase the bank’s footprint in the payments space, deepening their market share and competing directly with other major payments processors. She’s passionate about leading and developing teams toward ambitious performance through creation of an inclusive and innovative team culture.
Kim holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Pepperdine University in California, USA.
General Sales Manager
Sarik is the sales manager at the Cambodian business, running both the Call Center and Field Sales operations.
Sarik comes from a sales and marketing background with over 10 years of experience working in the Cambodian telecom industry. He previously worked at Cadcomms and MFone, where he was influential in setting up and executing the sales and marketing strategies.
He holds a Bachelors degree in Marketing as well as an MBA from the National University of Management, Cambodia.
Sarik is a huge football fan, and supports Manchester United.
Quality Control and Customer Service Manager
Pengnam joined BIMA in 2015 and oversees quality control and customer service.
Prior to this role, Pengnam was a customer service agent at BIMA, has worked as a customer service agent at Smart Axiata, and has taught English as a Second Language at a private school.
Pengnam holds a BBA from Norton university and a TEFL from BELTEI University.
He is interested in information technology and his hobbies include hiking and seeking adventures.
Wisnu is our Country Manager for Indonesia.
Prior to joining BIMA, Wisnu worked as Business Development Director at Axiata. He has experience in both consulting (at McKinsey) and various industries (at P&G, Shell, McDonald’s, Western Union and Samsung). The roles that he previously managed are both regional and country roles across different functions in general management, marketing/product and sales/BD.
Wisnu holds an MBA and Chemical Engineer from University of Indonesia.
Faridah has responsibility to oversee all financial processes in PT Milvik Indonesia.
Before joining BIMA, Faridah worked in Chain Internal Control - Oracle Hospitality based in Jakarta, subsidiary of Oracle Corporation (formerly PT Micros – Fidelio Indonesia) as an accountant. She also gained experience in accounting and audit areas from a big four accounting firm and is qualified as a Chartered Accountant (CA).
Farida holds a bachelor degree from economic faculty majoring accounting in Universitas Pembangunan Nasional (Veteran) Yogyakarta and certified Registered Accountant from Universitas Gadjah Mada
Vincentius Simeon Budhyanto
Chief Medical Officer
Vincent is our Chief Medical Officer for Indonesia.
Before joining Milvik, Vincent worked as Medical Advisor for Generali Indonesia. He has experience in Primary Care (clinics and hospitals), Occupational Health (International SOS and UHC Global Medical), and Health Insurance (Generali). In his previous role in Insurance, he helped to automate various workflow with VBA, developing ICD 10 Code for policies, and assisting various medical issues in Claim and Underwriting. As a Medical Doctor, he served various multinational remote communities in delivering optimal Primary and Emergency Healthcare Service.
Vincent holds certificate of competence in Primary Care and professional certificate as a Medical Doctor from Gadjah Mada University.
Satri is our HR Manager for Indonesia.
Prior to joining BIMA, satri worked as professional HR consultant. He has experience in various industries (at AirAsia, Lazada, Ensogo, Harukaedu). His specialties in are HR Digitalization, Talent Acquisition and Corporate Culture.
Satri hold Bachelor Degree in Psychology from Diponegoro University.
Management Associate – Business Development
Anisa is our Management Associate Business Development. Before joining Milvik, Anisa worked as Subject Matter Expert for Operations Analyst at Accenture. She also gained experience in Risk Management as well as in Taxation areas from Big four consulting firm and Mining company in Indonesia.
Amisa holds a Bachelor degree from Economics majoring Financial Management in Diponegoro University.
Agus is responsible for leading the Indonesian Tele-sales team to acquire new customers.
Agus has decades of experience in the Life Insurance industry. Prior to joining Milvik, Agus worked for Cigna Indonesia. He has more than 6 years’ experience in Telemarketing within various positions from Telemarketing to Telemarketing Associate Manager. He then expandeded his role to Marketing – Customer Value Management (CVM) for another 6 years with responsibility for data analytics, campaign management, & sales optimization.
Agus holds a bachelor’s degree in Agroindustrial Technology from IPB University.
Destria began her career as quantitative researcher at Ipsos/Synovate. One of her research project was for leading multinational life insurance in Indonesia.
She continued her career in marketing function at technology sector for both B2B/B2C. She was Brand Manager at Biznet (leading telecommunication/multimedia provider in Indonesia) and Marketing Manager at Huawei Technologies. Prior to joining MILVIK, She worked for Casio, responsible for consumer product in Indonesia region.
Destria holds bachelor degree in Criminology from University of Indonesia and master degree in Strategic Entrepreneurship from University of Southampton, United Kingdom.
Management Associate - Business Development
Mima is joining MILVIK Indonesia as an Management Associate - Business Development.
She had internship experience at Dattabot (big data analytic start-up) and TRANS7 (one of leading free-to-air TV in Indonesia).
At Dattabot, Mima worked on data enrichment of business startups and micro finance in Indonesia. She helped Data Acquisition Team to plan and conduct SME canvassing project in Greater Jakarta area through field and online surveys. At TRANS7, as Production Intern, she gathered materials for the scripts and helped production team to create and monitor daily editing schedules and weekly themes.
Mima holds bachelor degree in Sociology from University of Indonesia. She participated in student exchange program at Tohoku University, Japan
Meenakshi has overall strategic & operational responsibility for our business in Malaysia.
Prior to joining BIMA, Meenakshi was Director of New Business & Partnerships at Diageo.
Meenakshi has over 15 years’ experience in sales, marketing and business development across FMCG and Management Consulting. Prior to joining BIMA, she worked with Diageo in both country ®ional leadership positions building brands like Johnnie Walker and Guinness in South East Asia. Most recently she was Director of New Business & Partnerships in Singapore, where she set up new ventures for Diageo across SEA. Meenakshi has also spent significant time in consulting with Monitor Deloitte, strategy consulting arm of Deloitte, in India.
Meenakshi holds an MBA from INSEAD and a Bachelor in Technology from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
Isaac is our HR Manager for BIMA Malaysia.
Prior to joining BIMA, Isaac worked in HR roles across 7 Eleven Malaysia and ASK resources, a leading head hunting firm in Malaysia. At 7 Eleven Malaysia, he deployed an e-learning system to be used by 12,000 staff across Malaysia. At ASK Resources, he managed and co-managed various key accounts across financial services and telecommunications.
Isaac holds a B.Sc. Psychology (Hons) from the Royal University of Malaysia, Sultan Idris Education University.
Head of Sales & Operations
Bettaney joined BIMA in April 2019 as Head of Sales & Operations for Malaysia.
Bettaney brings 18 years of experience across sales, account management and consulting for insurance companies. She started her career as a call centre agent at Teledirect, a leading call centre in Malaysia and them moved in house as a direct marketing manager at Prudential Life. Post this she spent 9 years at ReMark International, a company that enables insurance companies transform customer journey through data driven marketing strategies. Here she worked with clients like Sun Life Malaysia, Equity Life Indonesia, Tokio Marine Life to set up and run their outsourced call centre. She played instrumental role in building success of ReMark Malaysia over the years and awared for Best Client Service within the group. Her recent role prior joining BIMA was Client Director.
Murtaza Khalil Hassan
Murtaza has overall strategic and operational responsibility for our Pakistan business.
Murtaza Khalil Hassan has over 14 years of experience in the insurance & banking sector in Pakistan and has been extensively involved in the areas of product development, distribution, and partnerships. Prior to Joining BIMA, he was the head of insurance at Telenor Microfinance Bank (Easypaisa) managing and developing the micro-health portfolio. Murtaza also previously worked at Standard Chartered Bank in the area of Bancassurance; managing investment linked life and takaful portfolios. Murtaza started his career with AIG where he also headed the personal lines department.
Murtaza holds an MBA in Finance from Institute of Business Management Karachi.
Umair Khalid is the Sales Manager for our Pakistan business.
Before joining our team, Umair Khalid was a Processes Re-engineering specialist at Telenor Pakistan, where he did projects on Recall and AHT reduction and saved more than PKR 22 million. He has also done divisional level projects on Internet Penetration, Non Voice Channels, Postpaid Churn, and NPS Launch. Umair has over 8 years of experience in customer services, outsourcing, insourcing, systems and processes and NPS (CFL).
Umair has a BBA Hons degree with majors in Management form National College of Business Administration and Economics.
SYED HASEEB ASIF NAQVI
HEAD OF HR & ADMINISTRATION
Haseeb has over 8 years of experience in customer service, network operations, quality assurance, training, and recruitment.
Before joining MILVIK, Haseeb was a Quality Assurance supervisor at The Resource Group(TRG), where he was responsible for call evaluations, quality reporting, and the hiring and training of call center agents. Prior to TRG, Haseeb worked at Telenor Pakistan in numerous departments, including Customer Relations, the Network Operations Center, and Operations.
Haseeb holds a Masters in Business Administration with a major in marketing from the Global College of Computer and Management.
Azam Saleem is our Reporting Analyst in Pakistan.
Azam has several years of experience in Reporting and Contact Centre Operations. Before joining MILVIK, he worked for Rocket Internet’s Lamudi venture in Pakistan. Prior to this, he worked for PTCL in different domains such as; Inbound, Outbound, Validation and Reporting.
Azam holds a Masters degree with major in political science from The University of the Punjab.
DR. AYESHA AHMED
CHIEF MEDICAL OFFICER
Dr. Ayesha Ahmed is leading MILVIK’s telemedicine program in Pakistan.
Ayesha has several years of experience in clinical medicine, healthcare administration and management. She has worked in a wide variety of settings, ranging from tertiary care centres in Pakistan and abroad to primary care clinics in remote rural areas. She has published papers in PubMed journals and has also conducted research work at a national scale. She holds numerous certifications from the Fetal Medicine Foundation (UK).
Ayesha is a graduate of Army Medical College (National University of Science and Technology)
Debankur has overall strategic and operational responsibility for our business in Sri Lanka.
Debankur has over ten years experience in sales & distribution, portfolio management, insurance products cross-sell and contract centre management. Prior to joining BIMA, he headed up the Cards Insurance division for Citibank N.A. Previous roles include management roles for Standard Chartered Bank.
Debankur has an MBA from Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), University of Delhi and Bachelor of Engineering from Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology (NSIT), New Delhi.
Apoorv has strategic and operational responsibility for our business in Sri Lanka.
Apoorv has over seven years of experience in strategy & operations consulting, business transformation, profitability improvement, digital & program management. Prior to BIMA, he worked as Senior Management Consultant with Performance Improvement team at EY (formerly Ernst & Young). He has experience of multiple projects in medical & healthcare, building material, automobile and other diversified industries.
Apoorv holds Bachelor of Engineering from Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology (NSIT), New Delhi (University of Delhi).
Mafaz has strategic and operational responsibility for our business in Sri Lanka.
Mafaz has over 10 years of experience in Information Technology, he has managed hundreds of software implementation projects across the world. Mafaz is a member of the British Computer Society and holds a Graduate Diploma in Management from Edexcel.
Thusith has been appointed as the Finance manager of BIMA Sri Lanka in June 2016. He is responsible for the finance and accounting function of the company. Thusith has over 10 years' of experience in accounting and finance which includes six years of audit and accounting advisory experience at KPMG Sri Lanka.
Thusith holds a BSc in Finance from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura - Sri Lanka. Further he is an Associate member (ACA) of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka.
Thusitha has joined BIMA in 2013. Prior to his appointment as the Operations manager, he is involved in managing the Call centre, handling claims and system administration in BIMA Sri Lanka. Currently he is responsible for operations in the Company.
Thusitha possesses previous working experience in project management, sales and marketing. Further he is currently reading for Bachelor of Science Degree at Open University of Sri Lanka.
Natali has 9 years of working experience in the BPO sector, out of which 6 years' experience in Training and Quality Assurance.
She has an Advanced Diploma in Business Management from National Institute of Business Management - Sri Lanka.
Priyan de Silva
Human Resources Manager
Priyan is responsible for the HRM function of BIMA Sri Lanka. He possesses more than 10 years' experience in Human Resources Management in the Insurance sector.
Priyan has the Professional Qualification in Human Resources Management offered by the Institute of Personnel Management - Sri Lanka (Inc.). Also he holds a Post Graduate Diploma in HRM from the National School of Business Management - Sri Lanka.
Customer Obsession Manager
Shiyamila has joined BIMA Sri Lanka as the Customer Obsession Manager in March 2018. She is responsible for Customer relationship management and Quality Assurance.
She has over 10 years’ experience in quality assurance, customer relationships and project management in mobile telecommunication, BPO/ KPO, Digital publication and IT managed service industries.
Gowri joined BIMA Sri Lanka as Claims Manager in November 2018. She is responsible for the claim management process in the company.
She has Over 10 years of experience in Customer relationship management, Process Audit, Performance Management, Project management and Business consultancy fields and possesses previous working experience in Mobile telecommunication, BPO, Health care & Training Sector.
She holds a Master degree in Business Administration from University of Wales – UK. Further she is a Fellowship member of ABE, United Kingdom FMABE – UK.
